2025 Semantic Augmentation Challenge

In this episode, OMG Chairman & CEO Bill Hoffman chats with David Blaszkowsky, Managing Director of the  Financial Semantics Collaborative and Co-Chair of the OMG's Financial Sector Domain Task Force.

David provides the details for the 2025 Semantic Augmentation Challenge to be held virtually on July 22. OMG is inviting data and technology professionals to compete for a $1,000 prize in the Challenge.

Contestants will work with an FDIC bank dataset to create metadata that maps columns to semantic references which provide meaning. You will need to show how your solution helps both humans and machines understand the data, and demonstrate that your approach works with updated dataset versions.
